Amir is only six. Together with his father, he moves from sunny Tashkent to cold Moscow. The boy has to get used to a new country and culture. All friends and games remained there - in Uzbekistan. In Moscow, Amir meets his communal neighbor Vanya. They are almost the same age, a strong friendship develops between them, but Vanya’s mother is against the boys’ union because of national prejudices.
